How To Join Bay Ridge FCU

At a credit union you "join" the credit union, and become a "member". It's easy. You can do this in one of two ways:

Applying and being approved for a loan. Or, by opening a savings account with either cash, check, or through a payroll deduction.

(Please note: there is no benefit to becoming a member and opening an account before you apply for a loan. So if it's a loan you'd like, let us know right away and we'll speed up the process for you. At the same time you are approved for the loan you'll become a member and open your account.)

Customer Identification Program Policy

Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New Account:

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

In all cases, protection of our customer's identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
